By following along in this Getting Started Guide, we'll walk through the steps to get the calendar running in no time.

IMPORTANT! Exact capitalization of file names and variables as presented in the instructions are required.

Uploading

If this is a new installation, please review the Installation Instructions.

If this is an upgrade to an existing installation, follow the Upgrade Guide.

Initial Setup

After the files have been uploaded, start the install script to connect to the database, set up the administrator login credentials and enter the license information.

To get to the install script, in your favorite web browser, go to http://www.YourDomainName.com/calendar/install/index.php.

Configuring the Calendar

Settings is where you add users and categories, setup your time zone, and adjust the many, many configuration options of the Easy PHP Calendar.

To learn more about settings, please review the Settings section of the instructions.

Adding, Editing and Deleting Events

To learn more about managing events, please review the Managing Events section of the instructions.

Adding the Calendar to Web Pages

You've made it this far, now I'm sure you're excited and ready to add the calendar to your own pages! We've made this very easy and have provided detailed instructions in the Integration section. Be sure to review the different styles: Mini, Standard, Agenda, and Blog. You can use one, two, three or all four modes on the same page!
