    Compatibility check was ok and the original files were installed by Brian, and I set up the page (index.php) as directed. The following line was entered just before the end of the head, and

    <?php $CSS=1; require("calendar/calendar.php); ?>

    <?php $OL=1; require("calendar/calendar.php); ?>
    was set as first line of body.

    Where I want the calendar, I entered

    <?php require("calendar/calendar.php"); ?>

    When uploaded, the page returns as a complete blank.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Do the demo page(s) in the calendar directory function?

    Can you log into the Setup Manager and/or Event Manager?

    When I open www.cheneyhall.org/calendar/demo.php I see a calendar, but not clickable and the events I've set up all appear below it as a group

    And yes, I can log into Setup Manager and Event Manager.

    The demo page appears to be functioning as expected.

    What is the link to your page that comes up blank?

    Blank Page

    Also, I tried using require("calendar/calendar.php); ?> and, since all web docs on the Linux server are in a htdocs directory, I also tried using require("htdocs/calendar/calendar.php); ?> and still get the blank page. If you want to go into the site, I can send you the credentials separately.

    Can you reply and attach the index_newtest.php file?

    Ahh, you're missing a close quote mark in the PHP code.

    <?php $OL=1; require("calendar/calendar.php); ?>

    should be

    <?php $OL=1; require("calendar/calendar.php"); ?>

    Check them all.
