Call category from URL

  1. I have the demo page working exactly how I want it...Is it possible to call the page from a <a href> type URL for a specific category?

    http://myDomain.com/calendar/demo.php?showCat=5

    If so, what is the correct syntax to apply to the link. If not, how can I achieve this without configuring numerous demo.php pages with showcat hardcoded in each page?

    Thanks in advance.
  2. when I use the showcat=5 instead of showCat=5 it works fine BUT I am still running into a problem...if I happen to mouseover a day that also has an event on another category it still shows both categories on the mouseover?

    How do I show exclusive events for just that category?

  4. In that case I definitely have something not working correctly. What am I doing wrong?

    http://64.239.67.7/calendar/demo.php?showCat=0

    I have events setup for Dorms 0 and 8 according to my config.inc.php file:

    $epcCategories="0|Dorm Assignments[0|DORM 1*A[5|DORM 1*B[6|DORM 1*C[7|DORM 1*D[8|DORM 2*1[9|DORM 2*2[10|DORM 2*A[11|DORM 2*B[12|DORM 2*C[13|DORM 2*D[14|DORM 2*E[15|-||-16|3";
  5. Okay, I figured it out, I was not going into the events admin and getting the filter code: $showCat="a|9";

    Works great thanks!
